Glenda Kickett

Cultural Advisor

Glenda is our Cultural Advisor and works to deepen knowledge of cultural safety for children and young people and cultural supervision for staff in out-of-home care. Glenda is a Whadjuk and Ballardong woman from the Bibbulman Noongar Nation. Glenda is a Manager of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Engagement and Partnership at the Australian Childhood Foundation. Before taking up this position, Glenda was the Executive Manager at Djooraminda-Centrecare for thirteen years. Glenda has a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Western Australia, a Master of Arts in Indigenous Research and Development from Curtin University and a Doctor of Philosophy through the School of Social Work at the University of Western Australia.
