When yes means YES: A carer’s guide to conversations about consent with young people

Introduction

This is the registration page for When yes means YES: A carer’s guide to conversations about consent with young people. This online course is currently operating as a pilot, for OzChild carers only. The course is made up of 6 online modules. Each module takes between 15 and 20 minutes to complete.

The content is aimed at carers, with carer reflections and activities included. At the end of each module, there are activities for carers to choose and complete with the young person in their care. Which activities a carer chooses will depend on the age, stage and development of the young person. These activities are in addition to the time estimates provided, and can take as long or as little time as needed.

OzChild carers are able to register for this course by completing the details below. Once registered, carers will have access to the online course immediately.

This course has been developed by carers, young people, the Australian Childhood Foundation, the Centre for Excellence in Therapeutic Care and OzChild, supported by the Victorian Government Department for Families, Fairness and Housing.
